The AIF Founding Congress Salutes those Attacked by US Sanctions

As the struggles of oppressed and toiling peoples around the world are securing wins against the imperialists, the imperialists lash out more and more in desperate attempts to protect imperialism and prolong its inevitable destruction.

This is especially true of US imperialism and those whose actions strike blows against it, as US Imperialism feels itself losing its status as the sole hegemonic superpower. The US is losing this grip on control especially in West Asia literally every day: each military base moving its soldiers into hotels is a material loss, and each missile interceptor fired further exposes its weakness. In such dire circumstances, the imperialists mus repress in more extreme ways those who speak and fight for the truth about the heroism of the Axis of Resistance, and those who connect the masses around the world to the facts of the matter of their righteous struggle against imperialism.

Recently, the terrorist US State department sanctioned the Palestine Action Network, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement (Masar Badil), and the Autistici/Inventati (A/I) Collective, the hosts of the Noblogs website service. They would like us to believe these organizations support “terrorism,” and therefore anti-imperialist activists should not support these comrades for fear of getting sanctioned themselves.

We know that the Palestine Action Network, which led the longest continuous, and victorious hunger strike in United Kingdom history is a friend to everyone who stands to gain from the end of imperialism. We know that the online services A/I provided helped spread anti-imperialist politics. We know that Masar Badil shines a light towards the correct understanding of the struggle for Palestine, and that we owe a great deal to these comrades for challenging us to uphold a principled, non-sectarian line on the Axis of Resistance. We know they are being targeted because what they are doing is working.

We salute these organizations, especially Masar Badil, and we will never sever our respect for Masar Badil because of repression. We recognize that we all walk a path towards revolution, that we should all strive to deepen our blows against the imperialists and become truly deserving of their comradeship not just in statements like this, but in powerful actions.
